Home Page English Electives Fine Arts Math Physical Education Science Social Studies World Languages	Physical Education Eastern Tech offers a variety of Physical Education courses, both required and optional. It is mandatory for each student to take the Fitness Foundations Mastery and a health course. Elective courses that students may take are Physical Education Elective, Weight Training, and Fitness Circuit Training. Faculty Joe Gast Mr. Gast has been a part of the Eastern Tech faculty for many years, and has been teaching in general for even longer. He attained his B.S. from Marshall University and his Mastery Equivalency from Morgan State University. Mr. Gast is the physical education department chairman and ranks as one of the senior teachers on staff. Mr. Gast has also been the Varsity Wrestling coach for the past three decades and is credited with multiple championships. Barry Heddings Mr. Heddings serves as the Health specialist. He received his B.S. from Towson State University in Health Science. Mr. Heddings is also the Varsity Lacrosse coach and has been a staff member at Eastern Tech for several years. Danielle Devlin Ms. Devlin, who has only been at Eastern Tech for a few years, earned her B.S in Physical Education at Salisbury State University. She also serves as the Varsity Cheerleading coach in which she has won many championships. Ravinand Rampersaud Mr. Rampersaud earned his B.S from State University of New York-Cortland. He earned his Masters in Exercise Science and Sport from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is an active member of American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. With multiple years of coaching experience, he serves as both the JV Wrestling and Varsity Lacrosse coach. Mr. Rampersaud has also been an ocean lifeguard every summer since 1990. Rick Evans Mr. Evans earned his B.S. from Towson State University and Master Equivalency from Towson. He has only been teaching at Eastern Tech a few years but has many years of teaching experience. He is a valuable part of the Physical Education Department specializing in weight training. Mr. Evans also coaches J.V. Baseball and is a Varsity Football assistant. Larry Hall Mr. Hall has been serving as Eastern Tech's Athletic Director for the past few years. He has been an educator and athletic director for many years at Randallstown and Dundalk. Mr. Hall received his B.S. from State University of New York Cortland and his Masters from Towson State University.
