Hi all. Steve Lowry here from the class of 81. I didn’t even know this site existed until I was trying to find the school address to update my security clearance. I worked at Legum Chevrolet for a few years, but I’ve been in the Coast Guard since 1987 and haven’t really been back to Baltimore since then. I’ve lived in New Jersey, Florida, Hawaii, Florida (again), Virginia, and now Gulfport MS. (aka Katrina Land). I have no idea how long I’ll stay in, but I love what I do. I'm due to transfer in 2008 so I'm looking for new ideas and areas. I’ve been married a “few” times, but have now been married to my beautiful, “much” younger Wife for 8 years. We have a Son who is 6 and a Daughter who will soon turn 3. I’ve found time along the way to receive my BSBA from numerous colleges and have 3 classes left for my MAED. Yea, business just wasn’t my thing. I don’t know if I’ve missed any class reunions, but I’m willing to show up for the next one. Shoot me an e-mail anytime. steven.j.lowry@uscg.mil
Frank Wagner - Looking for an Old Friend EVT Class of 1980 - Wondering if any of the members from the class of 1980 know what happen to a Robin James? I am currently planning the 20th Reunion for EVT’s Class of ’88, so if you’re interested or can provide contact information for yourself or other classmates you’re still in touch with, please let me know at kadietz@wbcm.com. Thanks! - Kelly Dietz (Fike)

I write and maintain a program that links our estimating software to various accounting programs. I am married with 3 wonderful children and am currently living in Parkville. Hello! I am Ian Sokoloski, Class of ’87 – Drafting. I have to say I owe a great debt of gratitude to Mr. Harding, my drafting teacher. He helped pave the way for my successful career so far. I graduated from the Essex Community College and the University of Kentucky with a bachelor of architecture degree. I am a licensed architect in Maryland and own two successful companies, Design Evolution Architecture and Primo Properties. I have been married for 13 years and have two boys, Grayson and Ewan. I currently live and work in Baltimore City. I’m not sure what made me look up the EVT (Eastern Tech) website, but I’m glad I did. It was great to see a few of my classmates posts and I look forward to seeing some more. Keep in touch. Ian P. Class of 1982: Michael Rybak. My prime was AC/Refrigeration - Heating. I didn't necessarily persue a career in my field of study, especially since it wasn't my forte. I was hired by Giant Food in '84 and have been working there ever since at various stores with about 23 years of service under my belt. Over the past several years recently I've been working on and off in the private DJ business with an old friend of mine and persued an age old passion of mine to become a writer. The latter of which has yielded my first published work with Publish America, "Reflections on a Journey; The collective works of a poet storyteller," released September 2006 under my pen name Michael Ryan. For me, this is the realization of a life long dream to become an artist, albeit a literary artist at that. My actual dream was to become a painter, and in a sense I am, though I am doing so with words and poetry. But it was a major vindication f or me to actually see my work in book form for the first time when I first received my author's copies at home, then again seeing it online at some of the major book retailers. I'm still jazzed about it! I am curious to see how some of my old classmates have done over the years since graduation. Perhaps we can hook up sometime before the next reunion. If anyone wants to keep in touch my contact info is (410) 207-7341 (cell) or you can email me at KOOL37@att.net. I look forward to hearing from some of you.

Class of 1983: Rick Emery, Machine Shop. Hi everyone! Are we having a 25 year reunion? I keep missing them! Well, I am a retired Sergeant First Class, E-7, from the US Army Military Police Corps. I am currently living in San Antonio, Texas and working as a Detective pursuing Organized Theft. I am the proud father of seven, six boys from 7 years old to 22, and one beautiful little girl. The military was good to me, but was hard on the marriages! Four of my sons are over 18 years old and the last of the Mohicans, my little girl is 10 months. Just came back from a family reunion in Baltimore during the 2nd week of August 2006. Was great to be back and I even stopped by to see our old EVT turned to Eastern Tech. Do we have a place to order our tassel, Varsity E Letter which was lost by the Military during a military move? Hope everyone is doing well and cannot believe how our town has changed in the last fours years since I was back home. Time sure f lys by! I remember learning to drive in the lower EVT parking lot, running cross country and now, our old cars that filled that parking lot are called Classics and Hot Rods! Take care, feel free to email... Where is everyone from
1980?
Was
hopeful to recognize some of the names. Not too many from 1980. I am Sheila (Cosner)
Dunmire. I graduated in 1980. Prime was Food Services. Since High school I have
searched several careers...Cosmotology and then nursing. I was in oncology
nurse for 5 years and now have moved to Hospice Homecare which I love. I
married Tim Dunmire 21 years ago and still madly in love. We have three wonderful
children, Courtney is 23 and a graduate of ETHS (2000) She went on to college
and graduated with a degree in Computer graphics. Jessie, 19, graduated
from Carver Institute of Art in Towson in 2003. She currently goes to college
and is not sure of a career yet. My son Cody is 16, he is in the 11th grade and
will hopefully graduate in 2006. He is a volunteer Firefighter for Abingdon.
Would
love to get in touch with some of the people from 1979 or 1980. I have been trying
to locate Kathy Dotterweich for a long time unsuccessfully. If anyone has any
information on her I would appreciate it. I can be reached at nurse.mom@comcast.net

this is Lisa Adams, class of 1985 drafting. I am currently employed as a computer
technician here in Maryland. This was what I always wanted to do
but the Data Processing classes were already full when I applied to the school.
I hope to graduate from college sometime before I am old enough to retire, however
I am A+ certified as well as an MCP (only other computer geeks will probably understand
that). This is a very well-done website and it’s nice to have this forum
to find out what has happened to many of the students. My email is laa34@comcast.net

(Stalcup) Holter 1982 Cosmetology I
never went into the cosmetology field. I went the retail way. I married a former
Eastern Tech student, Terry Holter. We have four children. Our oldest, Terry will
graduate from ET in 2004, Brandon is entering ET in the fall of 2002, Megan will
be in the 7th grade at Parkville Middle and Krystle is in the fifth grade at Martin
Boulevard Elementary, where I have worked as a reading tutor for three years.
I am in my third year as PTA President at Martin Boulevard. During the summer,
we follow our kids around as they play sports. Our daughters play tournament softball.
Last year they played in the world series in Alabama. They came in 11 out of 26
teams. This year, they switched to fast pitch and just completed a tournament
where they took first place. The oldest girl , Megan, was asked to join a 19 and
under team, where she turned out to be the youngest. That slow pitch team took
State Championship for NSA. My husband is self employed as a basement waterproofer,
and works the east coast. We were unable to attend the 20th reunion, because of
tournaments. We live in Middle River. RConstr684@aol.com

My
name is James Evans, Jr. I am a graduate of Eastern Voc. Tech., class of 1987.
After finding out that you are looking for information on alumni, I decided to
send you an e-mail. I majored in carpentry at Eastern, but never made it into
the field. After a short and unsuccessful stay in the U.S. Navy, I have worked
as a maintenance man, printing press helper, warehouse worker, and as a warehouse
manager. On August 4th, 2001, I married a beautiful young woman that I met at
the Maryland Renaissance Fair.( I work there also.) Until
last year, I had been a strong supported (and alumni help) of the theater arts
club at Eastern. But my personal life has changed, so I can only try to attend
the performances, and not help back stage. In
short, I am alive and living in Millersville, Md.( just south of Glen Burnie).
Please, if possible, keep me updated on reunions and current events.
Thank you, James Evans, Jr. A.K.A. "The ghost of '87" Tim-ber
